Hu's Monkey Staff

This performance of a monkey staff routine by Grandmaster Hu Jianqiang is, to my knowlege, the best of its kind. The soundtrack is HORRIBLE, and I recommend TURNING THE SOUND OFF before watching. Terrible voiceover and added swish sounds. Master Hu now teaches in the USA

Jang Bong Forms

The Korean staff (Jang Bong) tradition is nicely represented here, though it doesn't start for 1 minute, and the music is... well, just turn the sound off.

Bo-Staff Dot Com

[note: bo-staff.com is no longer active]
The ambitious Bo-Staff Dot Com seems to have not been updated since it was hacked a few years back. Nevertheless, it has some good material posted, including an extensive history of the bo, complete with definitions and type descriptions, and some excellent clips of Casey Marks, Wayne Dalglish, Mike Welch, and the Pinkston Brothers.

Quarterstaff Reprint

The Journal of Manly Arts (which, despite its unfortunate name, has taken on the honorable task of exploring the near-forgotten European martial arts) has posted an 18th-century manual on the use of the quarterstaff, as well as a chapter from another book regarding the quarterstaff, both complete with diagrams.

Bujinkan Bo NYC

The Benevolent Heart Dojo of NYC has a few short videos demonstrating staff use in the Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu system. There is another mpeg showing some of the techniques here (the annoying music stops after a few seconds).

Southern Shaolin

The home page of Sifu Wong Kiew Kit's school in Malaysia is packed with information, photos, and videos. These include a beautiful clip of the Ho Family Flowing Water Staff, a grainy-but-worth-it clip of the Pa Kua Staff of Fifth Brother, and two clips of staff use in an old kung fu movie [1] [2], which I can't say I find very interesting.

The Sifu also has an extensive section titled Can Kungfu be used for fighting?
